Mr. William Jandris' Obituary
Mr. William “Bill” Jandris, age 93, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 in Spring Lake, MI. He was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on August 25, 1920 to John and Elizabeth (Swetkovitzs) Jandris and was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy and served on a submarine in WWII. He worked for Hall Electric for 33 years before retiring in 1983. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, gardening and arts and crafts. He was a member of Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include his wife, the former Tillie Bercik; one son, Richard Becker; one granddaughter, Stephanie Becker and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; six sisters and one brother. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church.
