William "Bill" L. Kolberg's Obituary
William “Bill” L. Kolberg, age 68, passed at home on July 28, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 16, 1952 to Orville and Rozella (Mitchell) Kolberg Sr., in Muskegon. Bill worked as a cement finisher for several companies in the Muskegon area before retiring in 2002. In his spare time, he enjoyed car races, playing cards, hunting and just being outdoors. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Tara (Thomas) Tice, Jackie (Timothy) Smith, Brittany (Deron Karvako) Kolberg; 8 grandchildren, Sierra, Skyler, Layla, Remington, Hazel, Gunner, Timothy and Jacob; great-grandson, Leland; brothers, Terry Kolberg and Charles (Jill) Kolberg; sisters, Sharon Waller, Judy (Ben) Brooks and Ruby Botten; special friends, Greg Dillon, Corkie Carlson, Kenneth Smith along with many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Bethany Marie Kolberg; infant sister, Ruth Ann Kolberg; brothers, Rusty Kolberg, Alan Kolberg and Brian Kolberg. A FUNERAL SREVICE will be held for Bill at 11:00am on August 3, 2021 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. VISITATION with the family will be 5pm to 8pm on Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
