William "Bill" R. Kruzona's Obituary
Mr. William “Bill” R. Kruzona, age 89, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on January 22, 1925. Serving in the US Army, he received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star during WWII. Bill retired in 1991 as Vice President and Controller for First of America Bank, after working 33 years in Muskegon. He was a member of Oak Ridge Golf Club and enjoyed golfing, Notre Dame Football and working slot machines. SURVIVORS include one son, Mike (Carol) Kruzona; grandson, Michael Kruzona II; brother, James (Kathy) Kruzona; sister, Gloria Lack and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Kruzona and former wife, Patricia Kruzona. A FUNERAL SERVICE with Military Honors will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2014 at The Walburn Chapel 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 VISITATION with his family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS may be directed to the Muskegon Catholic Education Foundation, Inc. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
