Mr. William Shannon Oliphant, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon on November 17, 1952 to Jack and Beatrice (Spoelman) Oliphant. Bill was employed by Shape Corporation for 22 years. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Big Reds Football fan. He is survived by two children, Amie (Ron) Price and Jason (Tammy) Oliphant; six grandchildren, Riley Burks, Jacob (Melanie) Langlois, Bryan (Emma) Price, Sadie (Rodolfo Mendez) Price, Mia Price, and Cassidy (Keagan) Price; eight great-grandchildren and number nine on the way; siblings, John (Elizabeth “Boo”) Oliphant, Nellamarie Oliphant, Jack (Susan) Oliphant, Peggy (Rodney) Stone, Tim (Lori) Oliphant; several nieces, nephews, and good friends, Paul Paulson and Tim Tyrell. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Oliphant; and great-granddaughter, Naomi Mendez. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside will be held.
