I went to school at Whitehall and graduated with Bill. I think of him fondly and with a smile. He was just a nice guy! I am so sorry for your loss. Bill, or Billy as I will always remember him, was a classmate, neighbor and close childhood friend. I have many fond memories of him helping me paint my bike pink, burying my rabbit, Thumper, when it passed and I was too distraught to do it myself, fishing with cane poles at Lyons Den, trying to smoke dandelion leaves in the alley between our yards in Sweden Town (we choked and coughed. It was HIS idea), and many, many more. Our school lockers were always next to each other, we were seated close (alphabetical order) in classes and, simply, he was my buddy. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. My heart goes out to his family. Billy was a good soul always.
