We loved Bill (and Barb) so much we bought a house so we could be close to them. Bill sense of humor and musical talent delighted us. Right up to the end, we shared jokes online, especially Irish jokes. Since he's been gone, I think at least once a week: "I'll have to share that one with Bill.l Then I realize I can't. As a teenager I was so proud to be Bill Barber's brother-in-law. While in high school, Mary Ann baby sat for their kids on Heron. As a senior citizen, I'm still proud to be his brother-in-law. I look forward to seeing him in the next life.
I always loved it when I'd call and get voice mail with one of Bills little ditties ! We always had a bet on March madness and he slipped out without paying his last debt to me ....a pronto pup. There are so many memories....I'm sure Barbie was there to meet him with open arms...love ya Bill...miss you ....
Mary and I will always remember Bill for his love of CPP, his quick wit, great sense of humor, and extreme gift as a musician, husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all in the family, God Bless and be healthy and safe. Barry and Mary Huntington
Much love to the wonderful Weideman clan. Bill was a mentor, colleague and friend and one of the Good Guys that truly brought light to this world. I count myself lucky to have had the privilege of knowing him and working with him. I’ve no doubt Bill and Barb are now sharing a gin martini again somewhere with a fantastic view…
