Mr. William N. Willea's Obituary
Mr. William N. Willea, age 76, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 in Grand Rapids. He was born in Muskegon on February 20, 1936 to George S. and Henrietta (Huizenga) Willea. Bill was a retired computer specialist at Grand Valley State University and had recently worked as a driver for ABC West Michigan Auto Auction. He was a member of the Don Rae VFW Post #8846, the Fruitport Eagles, and the National Rifle Association. Bill enjoyed attending car and truck shows in St. Ignace, MI, and watching NASCAR, especially Terry Labonte. He was a loyal University of Michigan and Green Bay Packers fan. He is survived by his children, Diane (Brian) Jackson of Fruitport, Steve (Lori) Willea of Muskegon, Kristine (Jason) Swanzy of Rockford, Jerrod Willea of Zeeland, and Lindsy (Jared) Devenport of Coopersville; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda (Brian) Bilman of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; and 1 sister. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (920 Fulton St., Grand Haven, MI) with Rev. Fr. William A. Langlois presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service.
