William "Bill" Frank Kops' Obituary
Mr. William Frank “Bill” Kops, age 59, died Saturday, May 1, 2004 at home. He was born June 23, 1944 to William Frank and Ora Edna (Gleason) Kops, and had been a life resident of the Muskegon area. Bill owned and operated Kops Construction for 25 years. He also owned and raced standard bred horses. Mr. Kops loved and enjoyed being with his family and friends. On June 4, 1993, in Lake Tahoe, CA, he married the former Caroline Kay Kuznar, and she survives him along with 2 children, William Russell (Shelley) Kops and Michele Ann (Rex) Vanderlinde; 3 grandchildren, Evan and Ashley Kops, Jennifer Ann Vanderlinde; best friend and father-in-law, Ed (Terry) Kuznar, mother-in-law; Karen Sherman, brothers and sisters; Kim Kuznar, Joel Ernvall, Jean Kuznar, Mike and Becky Kuznar; 2 nieces, Lexi Kuznar and Emily Rose; many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 3:30 Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231-759-8565 with Rev. Fr. William E. Zink officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
