Mr. William D. “Billy” Dowdy, Jr., age 55, passed away Friday evening, January 30, 2009 in Muskegon. Billy was born October 9, 1953 to William D. and Betty J.
(Sidock) Dowdy, Sr. in Dexter, Missouri, and came to the Muskegon area in 1957. He had been employed at Goodwill. SURVIVORS include 3 brothers, Michael (Doris) Dowdy, Tony (Kathy) Dowdy, Randall (Rhonada) Dowdy, all of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Joan (Gary) Sandberg, Joanne Porter, Wilma Gilmore, also all of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; 1 sister, Rose Mary Barrett. A private family service will be held.
