William Frederick "Bill" Billings' Obituary
Mr. William Frederick Billings, age 78, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2011, at his home. He was born February 1, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Jack and Ruth (Strum) Billings. Bill Had worked as a supervisor for Fleet Engineering for 16 years before retiring in 1991. Prior to that, he had worked for Smith Industries. Bill was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is SURVIVED by his 5 children, Mark (Rose) Billings of Muskegon, Kathy (Gordy ) Hughes of Traverse City, Karol (Duane) Cummins of Muskegon, William (Jeannie) Billings II of Muskegon, and Mike Billings of Barryton, MI; 12 Grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandchild; and 1 niece. William was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack. In accordance with his wishes, private family services will be held.
