To Aunt Lil and my cousins,
I was sorry to hear that Uncle Bill is gone. I regret not being able to make it home for today's service.
I can picture his laugh and his occasional Czech slang when talking to my dad, Lew!
He was such a good man and a great uncle; I have lots of memories of past Christmases at St. Thomas Hall when Uncle Bill would keep us all in line!
I can't count how many times he came over to fix a broken down washer or dryer- he could fix anything!
I'm sure it's hard to say goodbye to him today.
Love, Lynn Jancek

I don't think anyone could have been as lucky as me to have a father-inlaw like you. Thanks for all the advice over the years, thanks for all the backyard fire pit chats we had , it won't be the same without you in the backyard telling all those stories.
I know when you got to heaven's gate your reply was fantastic !!!

Whether he was showing us his "Pride and Joy", teaching us about "Springtime in Alaska", carefully demonstrating how to make your tounge pop out by simply twisting your ears, sharing stories from his beloved folder, teaching us how to love God and work hard, or yelling at you for not filling the ice cubes trays...He was and always will be our Grandpa! He was a good man who worked hard and never took his life for granted. All who knew him are better for it. We love you, Grandpa and we know you will always be watching over us!##imported-begin##Jamie MacMillan##imported-end##
In the last year I have become to know Bill & Lillias very well. I will always remember his advice "Just dont get excited". As I sit here writing this I think of how he first appeared kinda of-Grumbly but there was the smile that soon came after that look. I remember the times when we first became his neighbor that he would come over to lend us "his nightlight, the cool tool he had made for bending nails and knocking them out of the wood boards". Oh and the times he cut the lawn and would come over and cut ours. I had nicknamed him the "lawnmower man". Bill was an intelligent man who was proud of his family and service to his country as many men where in the WWII era. We will miss him dearly.
You did a wonderful job on his obituary and our condolences to his family.##imported-begin##Rod and Sheri Hillard##imported-end##
