William James Clark's Obituary
Mr. William J. Clark, age 80, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born December 4, 1927 in Muskegon to William Roy and Agnes (Mahoney) Clark. He married the former Betty L. Smith in Muskegon on November 22, 1947. She preceded him in death February 14, 2004. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1989. He was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and the Lakeside Eagles. SURVIVORS: 1 son, Mark (Teri) Clark of Hastings, MI; 2 daughters, Pam (Jim) Hall of Kalamazoo, MI and Penny (Tom) Bell of Spring Lake, MI; his companion, Ruth Dunham; 4 grandchildren, Jeannine Hall, Brian (Melanie) Hall, Heather Posvistak and Kevin (Kelly) Posvistak; 1 great-grandson, Griffin Posvistak; 3 brothers, Charles (Joyce) Clark of Scottville, MI, Joseph (Judy) Clark of Montague, MI and Douglas (Georgia) Clark in Florida; 1 sister, Blanche Bennett in Georgia. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Merle and Edward Clark. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 2160 Crozier. VISITATION: will be Sunday 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at
