I had the pleasure of knowing "Billy" for about two decades and lived only a few houses from him on Scenic Drive in the 1990s. I also had the pleasure of writing a business story for The Muskegon Chronicle telling about Bill and his computer wizardry, which ran with a picture of him at his home desk. A few days later, after the story had appeared, Bill drove into my driveway on a four-wheel quad carrying a complimentary bottle of champagne, or some similar beverage.
Bill and I became acquainted when he worked part time at the Bear Lake Inn in North Muskegon, where he loved to tell stories about his life's adventures, including flying.
My sincere condolences to the entire Reddam family. Bill was a good friend.

We both enjoyed knowing Bill at Brooklyn Bagel. He always remembered our names and was very pleasant. He will be missed greatly by many people.
