William L. "Bill" Thomas' Obituary
Mr. William L. “Bill” Thomas, age 65, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Muskegon. He was born on January 8, 1943 and raised by Chancey and Dorothy Thomas and resided in Muskegon his entire life. Bill retired in 1998 from Brunswick Corporation, and was affiliated with Fremont Christian Church. He also enjoyed carpentry and was a racing fan. On October 7, 1982, he married the former Ann Hammond (Keller) in Muskegon, and she survives him along with 9 children, Kari (Tom) Kresnak, Kurt, Eric, Steve, Terry, Julie (Charles) Holland, Sheree, Lisa (Chanh) Do and Marsai; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert (Diana) Thomas. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Chancey and son, Alan Thomas. SERVICES will be 2 PM Thursday at
The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. David Dickinson officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Coventry House, Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Muskegon Rescue Mission will be appreciated.
