I worked with Bill at Sappi and knew Tina from school. Tina, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the children. I am so sorry for your loss.

I received an email a day or so ago letting me know of the passing of Bill, one of my classmates from Mona Shores 1984 class. I had no idea Bill was even sick, as I have been away from Muskegon for a couple of years now.
I remember Bill as being the guy who was nice to everyone-he didn't care if you were in a "click" or hung out with the people he did. Bill was always genuinely nice with that smile that lit up his face & the room!
I am so sorry to hear of his untimely passing. I am sure that he is lighting up heaven with his smile now. He was a good man & touched many, many lives here on earth. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Tina, there are no right words to say at a time like this. The stregth and love that you gave to Bill gave him the best days of his life and I know that he realized how lucky he was to have you to share his wonderful life with. Even thou you don't have him by your side he will be in your heart forever. My heart and prayers go out to you and the family. He will be truly missed and remerbered forever. Tina, i want to thank you for everything you did for my dad through all of this. He could not have had a better person to help him stay strong. He loved you more than almost anything, and he told me that every time i seen him.
Mr. Lumpp, Thank you for everything you have helped myself and the family through in this hard time. But beyond just these last months of "bill sitting", you have always been around. It was you, me, and my dad. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart.

Dear Tina and family, I am so saddened by the loss of Bill. Bill was the classmate everyone loved and a friend to all. My Bill story is the book story. In 9th grade, my most treasured possession was a book about my favorite person, Jim Morrison, "No One Here Gets Out Alive". Bill borrowed it on the last day of 9th grade, promising to return it next year. Tenth grade came and went, and so did 11th and 12th. Every time I saw him, Bill would laugh and promise "I'll get it to you!" Remember, this was 1981; there was no internet and few bookstores. I never would have loaned it out, but, it was Bill and he promised, and he was always so charming. We'd bump into each other in town every couple of years, and he (with that huge smile) would promise to give it back. 20 years later, Bill returned my book! Thank you, Bill, and thank you Tina. My sympathies to all of Bill's family and friends. He was a friend of mine way back in junior high and I still consider him to be even though we only ran into each other from time to time. Tina, I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you. Bill was a great person to be around. He had a great sence of humor and was a very kind person.
