William Tracy White's Obituary
Mr. William Tracy White, age 81, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Hackley Hospital. He was born June 9, 1929 in Boyne City, MI to Claude and Gladys (Hunt) White. William served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was employed as a Tool & Die Maker at American Coil Spring for 44 years until his retirement in 1991. While being employed, he also taught adult education for small engine repair. William had attended Shoreline Community Church. He married the former Kay Y. Cross in Muskegon on June 6, 1953. She survives him along with their 3 children, Randy (Jeannine) White, Kim White and Scott (Kathy) White all of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, John Grabinski, Jesse and Kasie White; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marcia Patterson, Charlotte (Jim) Patterson and Patricia McCarthy. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Kaye White, a brother, Robert White and his sister Sherri Vanderstelt. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. VISITATION will be Sunday afternoon 2-4 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Shoreline Community Church.
