William W. "Bill" Yule's Obituary
Mr. William W. Yule, age 94, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born April 27, 1912 in Calgary Alberta, Canada to William and Mary Maude (Davidson) Yule; and had resided in the Muskegon area for more than 20 years. Mr. Yule had worked at Johns-Manville in Indiana for 42 years. He was a member of the Elks, Toastmasters, and enjoyed portrait painting. On December 9, 1983 he married the former Evelyn (Benest) Kann, and she survives him along with 2 children, Gay (Chip) Saunders of Morganton, NC, Roger (Susan) Yule of Buffalo Grove, IL; 4 step children, Kathy (Tom) Tuttle, Cindy (Harry) Skok, Jan (Harry) Ames, and Jack (Penny) Kann all of Muskegon; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great grand children. Mr. Yule was preceded in death by his first wife, Bette Ann (Hilton) Yule in 1981; his parents, William and Mary Maude; and step father, Eugene Pierce. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 3 PM Saturday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev. Jayne Yonkman officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 2-3 PM. Burial will take place in Bluffton, IN. Memorial Contributions to the American Diabetes Association and VFW Post 7729 would be appreciated.
