Willie James "Sonny" Ealom Jr.'s Obituary
Willie James "Sonny" Ealom Jr., age 78, passed away on December 11, 2024, at Roosevelt Park Nursing Center. Willie was born on May 19, 1946, to Willie and Henrietta (Hart) Ealom Sr. He worked for over 30 years at S.D. Warren until his retirement. Willie served his country in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He was a sports fanatic and loved watching westerns. SURVIVORS include three children, Carmella Ealom, Kevin Ealom, and Essence Murray; stepdaughter, Shaun Houston; grandchild, Jourdan Ealom-Yff and step-grandchildren, Courtney Frasier and Shniece Houston; and brother, Eddie Ealom. God-children Cicely Smith and De’Shary Warren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ealom; parents, Willie Ealom Sr., mother, Henrietta (Hart) Ealom, and sister, Romella Ealom. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. MEMORIAL can be directed to the American Kidney Fund.
