Willie Mae Kennebrew's Obituary
Willie Mae Kennebrew, age 75, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was born September 13, 1948 in Jackson, MS to Robert and Shirley (Burse) Kennebrew and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. Willie Mae was a longtime member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Glen A. (Yolanda) Gray; 7 grandchildren, Glen A. Gray III, Keshay Davis, Calvin Kennebrew Jr, Deonte Kennebrew, DaVireo Kennebrew, Javion Collie, Jade Smith; 1 great-granddaughter, Elizbella Kennebrew; 1 brother, Robert Kennebrew Jr; the love of her life for nearly 50 years, Melvin Charles Jack; and favorite niece and nephew, Bernitta Kennebrew and Ronald Kennebrew. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jutayn Andrea Kennebrew, Calvin Kennebrew Sr; her parents; her beloved sister, Robimae Kennebrew; and her adoptive mother, Lula Mae McLemore. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2024 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Bethesda Baptist Church.
