Wilma Hattie Jones' Obituary
Mrs. Wilma Hattie Jones, age 100, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 13, 2015 at Grand Oaks Nursing Center, Baldwin, MI. Wilma was born November 12, 1914 in Harbor Springs, MI to Philo and Charlotte (Thompson) Millard; and had resided in Muskegon for most of her life, until moving to Baldwin in December of 2009. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Baldwin and formerly of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Muskegon. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary-Post 3195. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Roberta “Barb” (Dale) Hill of Wolf Lake, MI; 2 grandchildren James (Jennifer) Hill and Rob Jones II; 5 great-grandchildren, Amber (Brian) Lawrence, Brent Hill, Jeff (Abigayle) Hill, Jared Hill, Trevor Jones; and 5 great-great grandchildren, Mikel, Maylee, Taylynn, Tyler, and Baya. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Thaddeus R. “Ted” Jones (1980), son, Robert “Max” “Quack-Quack” Jones (2015), grandson, Michael Hill (1998) and daughter-in-law, Patricia Jones (1998). FUNERAL SERVICES for Wilma will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231-798-1100) with the Rev. Fr. Michael P.Olson presiding. VISITATION will be 5-7:00PM Monday. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund, 8636 S.
