Mrs. Wilma Jean Myler's Obituary
Wilma Jean Myler began her life’s journey in Flint, MI on November 23, 1943. On July 25, 2014, she went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, in Glory. Wilma was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and a great friend to all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, George; 3 daughters: Dawn (Ronnie) Roberts of Austin, AR, Victoria (Scott) Myler of Plainfield, IL, Cheryl (Steve) Higgs of Decatur, IL; 3 grandchildren: Samantha, Nicole, and Samuel; 3 great-grandchildren: Candice, McKenna, and Kaiden; 2 brothers: Jerry (Carol) Combs of Grand Rapids, Roger Combs of Florida; sister, Barbara (Chip) Thompson of Grand Rapids; and brother-in-law, Leonard Waddell of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. She will also be missed by her church family at Shoreline Christ Fellowship. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 1, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with her son-in-law Pastor Steve Higgs officiating. Burial will take place in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2014. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
