Wilma K. Palovich's Obituary
Wilma Katherine Palovich, age 92, passed away Wednesday morning, June 14, 2017. She was born June 26, 1924 in Muskegon to Michael and Celestina (Jancovic) Simoncik. On October 19, 1946, she married Andrew H. Palovich in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2007. Wilma had worked for Sealed Power Corporation for 17 years prior to her retirement in 1964. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Wilma and Andrew spent six months out of the year traveling and residing in Florida. She also enjoyed sewing and family cookouts at the “Lake House” on Spring Lake. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters: Celeste (Larry) Benson of Muskegon and Joanne (Dennis Zimmer) Thomas of Norton Shores. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Randy Thomas; brother, Steven Simoncik; and sister, Helen Pavlick. SERVICES will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 19, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 with the Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
