Wilma Agnes Schmidt's Obituary
Wilma Agnes Schmidt age 93, of Ravenna, MI died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Heartwood Lodge Spring Lake.
Wilma was born on April 9, 1919 in Ravenna, Michigan to the late George W. & Nellie M. (Green) Fisher. She married Rudolph Schmidt on September 19, 1940 in Marne, MI. He preceded her in death April 5, 1999. She retired from Bissell Inc. Then during her retirement she worked at the Muskegon General Gift Shop as a volunteer for over 20 years.
She is survived by 1 Son: Stephen W. Schmidt of Muskegon, 4 Daughters: Eileen (Robert) Behler of Bailey, Beverly Haas of Florida, June (Dr. Thomas) Winters of Wisconsin and Janet (Dr. Aaron) Folsom of Minnesota. 1 Son in-law: David Busman of Coopersville. 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by husband Rudy, 1 Daughter: Mary Jo Busman and Son in-law: Carl C. Haas.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Catherines Catholic Church in Ravenna.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00pm to greet friends. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:00pm. The family will be at the church on Monday 1 hour prior to service to greet friends also.
Memorials may be directed to: St. Catherines Church & North Ottawa Hospice.
