Dear Joyce, Pam, Dana, Bryan & Taylor:
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. Dr. Harris was one of a kind. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Harris for 17 years at NFP. He was the one who hired me, I remember interviewing in his office, sitting on the couch. He took such excellent care of his patients, treated each one as they were his only patient. He also took excellent care of my family members. I will never forget the special care he gave to my Uncle Walt, he made special house calls to check on him and talk to his family. I know that meant the world to my family. Dr. Harris also had so much love and pride for his own family. He will be missed so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Take Care & God Bless. Love, Sharon Kieft & Family
Thoughts and prayers go to the Harris family. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Harris at MDICC. He was well respected and loved by all his patients. And he always had interesting stories to tell about his family and the projects he was involved in. He was a great asset to the community and will be greatly missed.

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone who expressed their sympathy at the sudden loss of my Dad, Dr. W. Richard Harris. While a hole in our hearts will never be filled, we are grateful for God's mercies and thankful that we will be reunited with my Dad in Heaven once again someday. He touched so many lives in so many different ways, and my family and I are humbled at the community response toward his passing. Thank you again and may God bless you all. - Pam Harris

I worked for Dr. Harris when he first moved to Park St.. He was a super boss and dear friend. He was my family's physician and we loved and treasured him.
The times spent at work with him were never boring and I never minded going to
work! He gave so much to all of the community and people he knew, we will miss
him on this earth, and look forward to seeing him with our Lord one day.. Our
prayers are with his family, may the love and prayers from .all who knew him, help
them through this sad time .

We were among the first to arrive this afternoon to tell each of you personally how much your husband, father and brother meant to us. When we moved to Muskegon in the 60's we were looking for the best doctor in town. Our neighbor told us to try Dr. Harris. She was a registered nurse so we trusted her opinion. We found him to be just that...the best doctor in town. He always made us feel like we were his only patients. Our three children loved him. He earned the respect of the entire community. He often talked about his family...always with love and pride. What a comfort to know that he is with his Lord. We are holding you up in prayer. Blessings, John and Sue McKinley
Along the road of life we meet many people and I met Dr. Harris when I was young and he was my doctor for 35 years. Not only my doctor but he also took on my family over the years as it grew. We loved him and his wonderful family. He will be greatly missed but we will see him again in heaven. Thank you for all you did. Michael and Carol Schiller..
Our sympathy goes out to Joyce, Dana, & Pam, Dick was our Doctor and school mate, starting at Moon School Thru Musk. High. Dick,as he instructed me to call him, was an excellent Dr. and I haven't found as good of one yet. We wish you all of God's Blessings, Donna Maycroft Schipper and Children
Dr. Harris was physician to my parents, my brothers and sister, my husband and myself. He delivered both my children and cared for them during their childhood. I want to thank his family for sacrificing time with him so his could do what he was so passionate about and that was helping people. He really cared about each person he saw and he used his God given gift to the best of his ability to heal. What I remember about Dr. Harris the most is how he shared his faith in letting me know that what he could accomplish was nothing compared to believing in the greatest Healer of all . It has been a great honor to know your husband and father.
Your friend in Christ,
Linda (Peterson) Parker
