W. Robert Nussdorfer's Obituary
Bob Nussdorfer left his earth home Wednesday, December 16, 2008. He was born January 24, 1925 in Oceana county to Isabel (Myrmel) and Otto Nussdorfer. He went to a one room (1-8) school and graduated from Shelby High school in 1943. He served in the U.S. Army, Military Police. Later, he attended Indiana Tech. earning his degree: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Gibson, later known as Electrolux, and was Manager-Chief Engineer of Air Conditioners. He married Ann Backer, march 1947, who survives along with his children: Terry (Bellingham, WA) and Susan Hill; grandchildren, Kyle, Emily Nussdorfer (Portland, OR), James Hill (Toledo, OH); sisters, Ruth Ponticell (New Era), Ann Shmeideknecht (Stony Lake) and her children, Paul (Lauri), Pam (Bob) Hall, Kim (Tim) Kostelnek and Kelly (Ed) Stehouwer. His church was Central United Methodist where his Memorial Service will be, Monday, 11:00 A.M., Rev. Randall Hansen and Pastor, Jan Johnson officiating. The family request memorials to the church or International Aid.
