Wyatt "Clarke" Cooper's Obituary
Wyatt “Clarke” Cooper, age 84, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at The Poppen Residence. He was born on January 4, 1936 to Luther Wyatt and Dotha M. Cooper in Muskegon. Clarke was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for 50 years as an electrical engineer. His passion was ham radios and enjoyed communicating with people across the world. In his younger years you could find him snow skiing, diving, hunting, fishing, and camping. He spent his greatest years on his land in Michigan enjoying nature and building anything he could get his hands on. He was truly a generous and kind man who had a heart of gold. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Cooper; children, Cindy Coronelli, Clarke Cooper, Cathy Cummings, Monica Cooper; grandchildren, Richard and Jennifer Coronelli, Elizabeth and Aaron Cooper, Allison and Jake Cummings; great-grandchildren Scott, Grace, Hailey, Tristan, Gavin; brother, Larry Cooper; niece, Alison, nephews, Doug, Laurence, Christopher. A LIMITED VISITATION due to health restrictions will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM and 4:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Nunica Cemetery.
