Yevette Ikens' Obituary
Yevette Ikens
June 11, 1969 – August 5, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Yevette Ikens, 56, of Muskegon, on August 5, 2025. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 11, 1969, to Robert "Bob" Ikens and Patrice "Pat" Green, Yevette was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted and caring mother to her son Ryan and cherished Nana to her beloved grandchildren (Peyton and Keegan). Yevette was known for her fierce love for her family, always putting them first and nurturing those around her with kindness and generosity.
Yevette had a passion for real estate, dedicating much of her time to flipping houses and creating beautiful spaces. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in the yard and at the river, where she found peace and joy in nature.
From the beginning, Yevette had a spark that could not be dimmed. Her laughter filled every room, and she had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. She would show up for others without hesitation, always putting others needs above her own.
She is survived by her son, Ryan, her daughter in law Kate, grandchildren, (Peyton and Keegan) and her siblings: Ricky Hobby (Anne), Neil Hobby, Vicki Hobby Ramirez (Bobby), Jeanette Ikens (Jon), Jerry Green (Athena), and Angela Copley (Chris). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Yevette was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Pat; her brother, Neil , and her sister, Sherry.
A memorial service celebrating Yevette’s life will be held at Fricano's Muskegon Lake on Saturday, September 6th from 3pm-7pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather to share memories, reflect on her impact, and honor the beautiful spirit she was.
Yevette’s love for her family, her vibrant personality, and her zest for life will never be forgotten. She touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, final arrangement donations are greatly appreciated through the family's Go Fund Me site or through Ryan Speck directly.
