Yvonne L. Dahl's Obituary
Mrs. Yvonne L. Dahl, age 78, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born September 28, 1935 to Richard and Marjorie (Pollock) Benjamin in Chicago IL. She was a member of Sheridan Drive Baptist Church. Yvonne worked for over 30 years in missions as the Assistant Director of Training for International Teams and was head of the Women’s Fellowship Group at church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching old movies, working on photo albums and writing stories. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Lars (Sarah) Dahl, Edward (Kellie) Dahl, Nels (Lana) Dahl and Nancy Dahl; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Celeste Linklater and Kathryn May. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dahl. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Sheridan Drive Baptist Church (84 S. Sheridan Dr.) with Pastor Stephen Rumley and Pastor Verne Wright officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed the Sheridan Drive Baptist Church or the International Teams in Elgin, IL.
