Yvonne "Perky" Eloise Lee's Obituary
Yvonne “Perky” E. Lee, age 94, passed away peacefully at DaySpring on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Muskegon, MI. She was born on November 7, 1930, to Philip and Evelyn (Swenor) Carter in Muskegon. MI. On March 3, 1953, she married the love of her life, John W. Lee, in North Muskegon, MI. and was able to spend 58 wonderful years with him before his passing in 2011. She was a lifetime member at the Vikings and was a very big U of M fan. Perky enjoyed birdwatching, was active with bridge club, went to exercise classes 2 times a week for 20 years, enjoyed time spent in Clearwater, FL., cooking and baking and most of all spending time with family. She is survived by her children: William J. Lee, Rebecca (Randy) Davis, Bruce (Jennifer) Lee; five grandchildren: Brooks Sherman, John Lee, Cassandra (Derek) Lee, Carter (Samantha) Lee, Jessica Lee; one great grandchild, Olivia and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Evelyn Carter: husband, John W. Lee and sister, Willene Wilkins. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice. The family asks that you join them for a CELEBRATION OF LIFE LUNCHEON that will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM at the Vikings Lodge, 3132 Lakeshore Dr., Muskegon, MI. 49441.
