Yvonne Sullivan's Obituary
Mrs. Yvonne Sullivan, age 85, of Grand Haven was called home by our Lord Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Heartwood Hospice Residence. She was born March 12, 1926 in Detroit to Clement and Louise (LaForet) Torongeau.
A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Yvonne was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and had been a greeter at Meijer for many years.
On June 15, 1946 she married Daniel Sullivan in Grand Haven and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1993. She is survived by 3 sons: Daniel (Virginia) Sullivan of Woodbury, Minn., James (Sheryl) Sullivan of Grand Haven, and Bruce (Cindy) Sullivan of Belmont, MI; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Sullivan; son, David Sullivan and 6 sisters, and 5 brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. William Langlois presiding. Visitation with her family will be 5-8 PM Monday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery.
