Zane W. Carlson's Obituary
Zane Carlson, 86, entered into the presence of his Savior Monday evening, Feb. 23, 2009 after a short illness. Born April 12, 1922 in Muskegon to Russell and Georgiana (Morningstar)Carlson, he married his “sweetheart”, Evelyn Zeedyk on June 27, 1941 in Muskegon Heights. Zane worked for Highland Park Dairy for many years and later owned and operated Port City Homebuilders before retiring. His SURVIVORS include his wife, Evelyn; four children: Ed and Sandy Carlson , Jack and Kathy Carlson, Beverly and Don Olson, and Marv and Deb Carlson; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Ruth and Bob Foster and Lois Carlson. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Ellen Sue, daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Gerald Bosch, and brother and sister-in-law Lee and Leona Carlson. SERVICES for Mr. Carlson will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church, 4381 S. Sheridan Dr., with Pastor Scott Church officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Trinity Baptist Church Youth Camp Fund would be appreciated.
