Zelda L. Beane's Obituary
Zelda L. Beane, age 94, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 in Muskegon. She was born on December 5, 1929 in Spencer, Indiana to Clarence and Eliza Ann Morrow. Zelda cherished her time as a librarian at Orchard View Elementary School. She found joy in crocheting, reading, tending to her flowers, and was renowned for growing the best tomatoes in the Midwest. On September 17, 1947 she married Robert “Bob” Beane and were married for 68 years before Bob preceded her in death on January 23, 2015. SURVIVORS include three daughters, Deborah Farwig, Barbara (Michael) Hoeker, and Pamela (Graham) Weeks; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Also preceding Zelda in death are her sisters, Doris Corey, Ruth West, Dode Ford, Ina Srygler, and Pauline Morrow; brothers, Ed Morrow and Frosty Morrow; and son-in-law, William Farwig.
