Adeline Mary Brozek's Obituary
Mrs. Adeline Mary Brozek, age 101, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Millerville, Minnesota on July 3, 1919 to Carl and Anna (Peffer) Wilken. Adeline was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 70 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, working outdoors, and reading. Adeline was a sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and supporting her grandchildren in their many games. She loved her family and was always willing to give her time to help her children and grandchildren. On June 6, 1938, Adeline married Harvey Brozek in Millerville, Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by her children, Joan (Robert, deceased) Lutz, Richard (Pam) Brozek, Janet (Dave) McNab, Carol (Mike) Horan, and Thomas (Nancy) Brozek; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Harvey, Adeline was preceded in death by sisters, Elmyra Olsen, Leona Hofner, Florence Anderson, Margaret Auguston, and Beatrice Perkins; and brothers, Charles Wilken and Donald Wilken. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (150 East Summit Ave., Muskegon Heights, MI 49444) with Rev. Douglas Braun presiding.
