Alan B. Cousineau's Obituary
Mr. Alan B. Cousineau, age 61, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Muskegon. He was born on February 6, 1947 to David and Estelle (Radel) Cousineau in Muskegon. Alan was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and had worked for the Social Security Administration in Benton Harbor prior to his retirement in December of 2005. He was an avid sports fan and never missed the Tiger’s spring training camp in Lakeland, FL or opening day in Detroit; and never passed up the chance to go see his favorite Chicago Cubs. Alan loved to travel in his spare time and always enjoyed himself while traveling. SURVIVORS include his sister, Susan (Terry) McGovern, brother, Kevin Cousineau and sister, Delores (Bill) Buckley, all of Muskegon; sisters, Carol Balcom of Hesperia, Autumn (Robert) Stanley of Chico, CA, and Rebecca (John) White of Encinitas, CA. Special nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Brian Harvey) McGovern, Katie White, Michael Stanley and Adam and Veronica White, Matt and Ashley Stanley; along with special friends, Denise and Mike Jones. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, David and Estelle Cousineau. FUNERAL SERVICE with MILITARY HONORS will be 1PM Monday at
The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev. William Randall officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. INTERMENT will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Wright Township. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Friends of Hackley Library.
