We are sorry to hear of the passing of Bert, our heart go out to all of her family. I'm the granddaughter of Margaret Ambrose, and the daughter of Sandra. I've gone to visit Bert a few times, and she always made me laugh with her giggle and her stories of younger years with grandma, Aunt Char and all the family. To All The Elliott Family. What can be said? No better Mom ever lived! I lost my Mom at 19, but don't ya know who stepped right up and said "Don't you worry, I'll be your Mom!" Who else would start to laugh as she tried to scold us for something we shouldn't have done! With a best friend like Jane and a Second Mom like Bert I knew I was lucky! Very Sorry. It's very hard loosing a parent I miss them always.
She had a great life.
I was proud to have been her friend.
Even tho,I get after her just like my own MOM.She was always boss with Mary & I'd come in & give her hell for the air being on & the windows were all open.
I said are you having problems breathing? she's say yes. Then I'd lecture again. She'd just laugh. We all really enjoyed helping her & getting her to eat. She loved Deb's Desserts.
