Dad...I am forever grateful for all you and mom have done for me...your "other" daughter. It was always exciting and fun to get off the plane and see you and mom waiting for me. It was always very difficult and sad to have to say goodbye when I needed to return to my home and Calif. family. You and June took care of mom until she left us and now June was there for you until it was time for you to leave this life and reunite with mom. You're happier now and finally at peace. I know it will be very hard for June and me the next time I come home and get off that plane, but I will forever feel your presence. Rest In Peace dad. Dad....you are no longer suffering...you are no longer missing mom...you are back together and happy once again.... Losing you is the toughest thing I've ever handled. I am forever thankful for everything you've ever done for Larry and I, for Casey, for your "girls". I am thankful for all the time we have shared together before mom died and especially after mom died. You've waited almost 7 years to get back with her. We were fortunate to have the last two weeks to talk, cry, "make plans". You truly touched the lives of your nurses at the Poppen Residence (showing 'your guns and your smile').
