Dear family of Mrs. Covington,
I met Alice at Ross Park art fair after buying one of her beautiful tree skirts &baby blanket.I commented to her that I needed curtains and wall hangings to match the baby's room and she offered to make them for me.When I came by to pick them up and pay her for them,she would not take any payment. What I learned that day is that this gracious woman was an angel on earth who loved to share her talent, and sewed every stitch with love. My baby is now almost 9 years old and still sleeps with that blankie every night.I have always told her a very special lady made it for her, and now she can tell her Grandma in heaven to take care of Alice. Now every Christmas when I lay her skirt around our tree, it will be wrapped in love from an angel above. My sincerest condolences to you all, I will miss her dearly too.
