Alida was one of my best friends in Elementary all the way through High School. She was a wonderful person and friend to all who knew her. When she was in Portugal and and the Philippines she would write me letters that were so amazing! She could describe a sunset or a sunrise and you could almost see it in your mind. She had a way with words that could make you feel like you were standing where ever she was and seeing the very thing she was describing to you. I have many wonderful memories of Alida and she will be with me always.
Aida was a sweet, kind, and intelligent young woman. I have many childhood memories with her and her loving family. My heart goes out to them in this time of loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Love Susan
