Allen D. "Butch" Miel's Obituary
Mr. Allen D. “Butch” Miel, age 56, died March 16, 2007 in Muskegon due to a massive heart attack. He was born in Muskegon on February 9, 1951 to Walter J. and Phyllis (Gosh) Miel and had moved back to the area in 2003 after retiring from Robert Bosch Corporation after 33 ½ years. Butch was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking and loved spending time with his family. On August 8, 1992, he married the former Kathy McCune and she survives him along with 4 children, Robin Hinkle, Teresa Findley, Tracy Miel and Walter Miel; 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Cheyenne, Shelby, Austin and Kelly Jo; 1 brother, John (Faye) Miel; 2 sisters, Peggy (Al) Hardenburg, Janice (David) Schaub; 2 brothers-in-law, William (Jacci) McCune, Robert McCune; 1 sister-in-law, Nancy (Richard) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law, William and Evalynn McCune. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 1PM Saturday, April 28, 2007 at
