Allison Sorenson's Obituary
Miss Allison Marie Sorenson, age 60, of Spring Lake passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 15, 1949 in Pontiac, MI to Arnold and Dorothy (Cameron) Sorenson and has lived in the area since 1991. She was an avid reader and a member of the Spring Lake Library reading club. She loved her cats, going out to eat and shopping. She was also a former spelling bee champion. She is survived by 10 siblings: Sharon Orlando, Sharon Hansen, Constance Noble, Carl Sorenson, Yvonne Sorenson, Margaret Sorenson, Stewart Sorenson, Katherine Sorenson, RoseMarie Sorenson and Priscilla Shafor and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dan Anderson officiating.
