I remember Amanda and Tiffany playing with their dolls and doll buggies. Oh, the laughter , I'm trying to hold onto that. I remember her candy striping days helping at the hospital. Her uniform needed adjustments at the top to fit her. She was so excited as I helped her make a dress for her high school dance. Then her wedding dress needed to be adjusted to cover her top. I've shared so many parts of her life. Her flare for parties, her smiles, her saying I'm sorry for saying cuss words around me and scolding my children for doing the same thing. She came to the house to make Kevan get medical help on a minute notice. These and so much more. How she would say "now Linda", and to her mother she'd say "oh mother", when we didn't understand the conversations the three girls were having. Sweet memories. She was the sweetest daughter I never gave birth to.
My Dirty 30 Bingo wouldn’t have been the same with out you!! The way the older women kept yelling #BALLZ 🤣🤣
We will Always have our Watermelon Crawls ❤️
I love you my Beautiful Friend
A disclaimer: my thoughts and memories have a touch of humor, which I know Amanda would fully approve of 💕
Mike and my Dad have claimed each other as brothers from another mother which in turn lead LuAnne & my Momma to become close friends. I have many memories throughout life with them and their family 🤗 Although I can’t remember, Amanda told me often how she used to baby sit me. She’s the one grown non related woman who knows both sets of my cheeks! 😁
This one time at the reception before my brothers divorce, at Mike & LuAnnes house (Amanda my sister and I knew it was bound to happen 🙄) Amanda had candy bars and shots for the dollar dance 💵 It started as any regular dance until the ex put on a hoochie dress and got down in the grass dancing like a stripper 🤮 Us ladies decided the dollar dance was over and took the bottles of alcohol aside to enjoy ourselves and watched disturbed & full of laughter! I guess I can tell ya now big bro, sorry you didn’t get all your dollars 🤣🤣 she wasn’t worth it! 🙅🏻♀️
Our hearts are broken no one wants to be here remembering and honoring our sweet & loving Amanda 💔 Life has a way of unexpected occasions bringing us together. All of us would give anything to see her smile that lit up not only every room but the stars and heaven too! 🌟 Her boisterous, obnoxious & mostly infectious laughter has given each of us many smiles over the years! Just recently I can hear us ladies at craft night rolling with laughter. I’m the least put together of all the ladies so of course I’d bring my woman soda. Amanda my sister & I enjoyed our sips. That is until LuAnne sat next to me one night. I didn’t notice until after a big ol swig that she had used my captiann& coke to clean her paint brush! Ohh the laughter & jokes we will have forever 🤣
Amanda was a dedicated caretaker 👩🏻⚕️ Each patient had her sole attention & concern! Including the time I called her in the middle of the night asking for suggestions on how to help my Dad who wasn’t breathing. She made it from Whitehall to Muskegon in 10 minutes with her medical kit 🚗 💨 If you know my Dad he can be very stubborn but Amanda was just as stubborn if not more, called him an ambulance and very matter of factly told him if he didn’t take the ride he wasn’t going to make it another day! She saved my Dad & is my forever hero! 🦸🏻♀️
Each time Amanda graced my presence I grew to expect a stylish new hairdo paired with her perfected makeup & dazzling outfit 💃 At gatherings we would sneak out for a quick smoke, to tell jokes or chitchat about life. Like why can’t people get their lives together… especially ourselves! 🤭 We would talk about our precious little gremlins…: I mean blessings! Our kids are our whole world! 🌎 Amanda knew I am not hugger but she didn’t care she always reached her arms out to me. Even though by the time our chest touched our arms couldn’t give much of a hug 🤭 Never knew I wouldn’t receive another one 😔
Her time on earth wasn’t long enough but with each of us, her memory will last for many more life times! 🤗🥰
