Amy Louise Nolan, age 71, passed away at her home on Monday, September 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 22, 1949 in Manistee, MI to Arlie and Shirley (Skimin) Krause. On April 22, 1972, she married M Read Obituary
Marty and Family, I had the great privilege of working with Amy for several years teaching many children with special needs when she moved from Kalkaska to Muskegon. She was a loving and kind teacher with a great big heart for her students. Our sympathies to you all in this time of loss and may our Lord grant you peace and comfort.

Amy was like a sister to me…and a woman after God’s our heart. She truly was the “the sweet smelling aroma of Jesus Christ. “ Having led an exemplary Christian life, she touched the lives of so many…and served as an inspiration to us all. Her joyful and gracious presence that added to our lives will be sorely missed. I have no doubt that the angels are singing and welcoming her home!

Here on Earth, we will never be the same again without this wonderful woman in our lives. It has been such a pleasure to live next door to Marty and Amy for several years now. Amy loved working on her flower beds all season long…and I loved the fact that she made the border of our yard so beautiful! That is just one of the reasons she will be missed.
