I remember Uncle Andy from when I was just a child. I remember well how much he and Aunt Betty loved children...their own and then later after I married - ours. When he married Caroline, she became "Aunt" Caroline. Because they became engaged at one of their favorite restaurants which is in our "neighborhood", that special date brought them to our door to make their announcement. We have always been welcome in their home and our visits ended with "Must you leave already???" We express our sympathy to Caroline and the kids and grandkids.

Craig, Denise, Mark and Leanne, you are all in my heart and prayers. Your dad was a great man, who always had a smile on his face and loved his kids. There are some amazing memories that we all have growing up together that I will cherish forever. As we all get older the simple things that they all taught us are what matters. I am so sorry for your loss and I am sure we could spend hours going back in time and smiling and laughing at all of the memories that were created, and I can see your dad standing back with that smile on his face and enjoying every second and so proud of all of you! I worked with Andy at my fathers grocery store , M.F. Carlson Grocery store when I was a teenager in the 50's . Many good times , jokes were played on customers and staff. He and Betty were frequent passengers on my parents boat. Sorry to hear of his passing. Sue(Carlson) Schuiteman
