There are so many things is like to share. He was my favorite uncle, like a second father and because he loved being outside when the weather was nice. The Indian in him taught me about plants, birds, and wildlife. He used to take us girls fishing... Alot, bird watching. The heart in him taught me to not hold back my feelings. Say it like it is. He didnt sugarcoat anything. I spent the night at his house with my aunt and my cousin's who were more like my sisters all the time. Like 30 weekend's a year. And weeks at a time during the summer when school got out. He was a great cook. I are everything without a complaint. Except for this one time....here is comes the famous story. I DIDNT like mushrooms at all, there classified as a fungus....yuk! Long story short. He put diced mushrooms in the gravy. After my first plate I asked for seconds... As i went to start eating it he laughed out loud then asked me, " did you like them mashed potatos with mushroom gravy?" MUSHROOMS????!!!!!! I swallowed the first bite and asked, why would you do that? In gonna die....he said i was silly I made his day and he loved me. Three played later. I love mushrooms ive put them on everything from salad to pizza since that day. We have had lots of great times. Don't remember too many bad ones. He was blunt and to the point on alot of issues. Gave an honest answer and if it was broke he could fix it didnt matter what it was. He loved Bob Seager and white tank told. I bought him a red stocking cap in my teenage years I told him he looked like Cheech Marin...he was hilarious when he actually acted like him. Spot on! The one thing I am gonna miss the most is just sitting and talking about life and reality, while drinking morning coffee. Drinking a beer, ....... . ....., Sitting in the Sun. I will always love you uncle Andy you know ill be able to see you again cause angles do fly❤️❤️❤️
