I have fond memories of sleeping over at Uncle Andy's and getting up early in the morning with Dan and delivering milk. I thought it was very exciting. So sorry for your loss Dan and Joan.

So sorry for your loss, Dan and Joan. Andy was such a treat to work with at Laser Alignment! Shortly after I started there, here came Andy down the main hallway, riding a bicycle and ringing the bell; I knew he was going to be fun to work with. Another time, a delivery driver backed right through the shipping door and demolished it, broken glass all over the floor. Andy just looked up from his desk and said in a loud voice "That's far enough!
Andy was a TRUE Gentleman. Always there with a helping hand an a great smile. always enjoyed working with him. You will be missed. So sorry for your lost Dan & Joan. Prayers for your family.
Andy was a good guy. When we moved mom into her new residence Andy volunteered to help us repaint it. Andy also went out in the winter cold many times to help remove snow from neighbor's walks and driveways. He was a blessing to many and will be missed.

I met Andy when I worked at MDOT, doing permits for wide loads. He recognized my last name, and lo and behold, he knew my husband’s family and had been their “milkman” back in the day. I immediately put him on the phone with my husband. He gave us many good stories/memories of a time that had gone by.
Not too many months later, my father-in-law passed. Going through his pictures, Amazingly was one of Andy and his milk truck, delivering milk as a much younger man. We had it framed and sent it to him and he couldn’t have been happier, amazed that we had found such a picture.
God brings people together for many reasons, and meeting Andy was such a gift. He was a TRUE gentleman with a great smile and we were blessed to have known him. This world is a better place because of people like him.
Sincerely, Kathy and Homer Teitsma
