In your time of grief your family is in my prayers.
John 14:1-6
Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am there you may be also. And you know the way I am going. Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going, how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.
I know that today is a day of mourning, yet even in the midst of this you can have peace. Even in the midst of the storm God can be a peace that passes all understanding - because we know that God is with us.
We are all travelers on a road called life. There are many detours and many side streets. We don’t need to be confused - we don’t need to be lost.
Jesus is the way.
