Tony: The oldest of my first cousins. And me, the youngest. There's almost 20yrs. between us. That probably explains why I remember, as a kid, my mother (Aunt Jean) telling me stories of how she played and baby-sat with him as a teenager. And why Robin was my playmate at Nonna DeMario's house every Sunday for family dinner. Those were good times.
Tony did love rebuilding classic hot rods. I'll never forget the time I went with him so we could get fitted for tuxes. It must have been for Tom or Paul's wedding. I don't remember. But I do remember it was a good cruse. He drove us out to I-96 somewhere from Southgate. I'll never forget it because it was a beautiful sunny day, and we went topless in his blue convertible 66 corvette with the hot rod side pipes. That was cool! Thanks for a great memory, Tony.
Lastly, I just want to say, Tony was a kind good guy.
Rest in peace Tony.
