Arlene was such an amazing woman....always so kind and just a good woman....was always "there" for the Ashcraft Family when we needed a warm hug. She and mom can get together in heaven now and share coffee and good ol talks....So sorry for your loss Bisson kids....she was just a grand, bright, sweet lady...Marsha Ashcraft Mahynski

Arlene will always be remembered as one of the greatest Mona Shores Middle School teachers ever. She was an amazing colleague, caring educator, involved MSTEA advocate for all, and passionate about learning as well as teaching. As a mother and grandmother, her love was boundless. My life was greatly enriched by knowing this wise and awesome woman who has earned restful peace in the arms of her Lord. Sue Zack
Arlene had been a close friend of the William Dean family all her life.
Her mom "Marie" and our mom Dorothy (Wilson) Dean were best girl friends from high school on.
Arlene spoke highly of each of her children and truly loved you very much.
She will be greatly missed!
Sincerely

I was in Miss Jenson/Mrs. Bisson's class the year she got married. She was a wonderful teacher. When she got married she had a reception just for her students. I played my accordian at that reception. We also (the class) did a mosiac of the Taj Mahal that was on display on the wall next to the Hile School gymnasium for many years ( I wonder what ever happened to that mosiac). Anyway, I loved having her as my 6th grade teacher and have many fond memories of that year. My sympathy to you on losing this wonderful person from your lives.

On behalf of the Walukonis family please accept our deepest sympathy. My daughter had her as a teacher at Mona Shores and she was an inspiration. Always willing to help her succeed. We are sad to hear of her passing.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. We are at Marti's in TX this week but want to let you know that you are in our prayers. Your mom was a very special lady and we will always remember working on projects at Saint Jean's, She was such an important part of the parish family. May she rest in peace.
