Arlene Faulkner Glennie's Obituary
Arlene Ann Faulkner Glennie, age 81, of Alpena, Michigan passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. Arlene was born August 21, 1937, in Petoskey, Michigan to Henry and Ester (Grams) Faulkner.
Arlene worked as a Substitute Teacher in Alpena for twenty years. She loved baking, cooking, watching old movies and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Glennie) Whalley and her husband Christopher of Elsworth, ME; two sons, Donald Glennie and his wife Cindy of Holland, MI and David Glennie of Alpena, MI. Nine grandchildren: Maureen (Whalley) Beck and her husband Brian, Michael, Patrick, Brian Whalley, Nathan Glennie and wife Danielle, Brandon Glennie, and Travis Cramer. Her two “adopted” grandchildren, Danielle Hart and Devon Galbraith; six great-grandchildren: Hayden, Dakoda, and Alexis Glennie, and Noah, Kendell, and Kiera Cramer; two sisters, Louise Terpening and Mildred Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Isabell Dove and Beverly Beckwith, four brothers: Alfred McFarland, Eugene, Edwin, and Henry Faulkner.
