Sandy, Sharon, Judy, Pat, Tom and Tanya and your families. I have such great memories growing up and spending summers with our moms and all the kids at various places. Arlene was a gem and loved by so many. I am so sorry I missed the visitation with all of you, however, I am sending much love and hugs to all of you.

Sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.

To my children, she was Grandma Arlene. To my husband and I, she was our friend and neighbor. Wyatt was born August 6. We moved into our house before 9/11. My husband’s family gave us a baby shower there. I invited my new neighbor, Arlene, to the shower. She was part of our family from that point on. She always had candy and little gifts for my children for all of the holidays. One of her adult children called our house because our son, Wyatt, had opened his window and he and his sister, Mackenzie, were hanging out of the window, reaching out for an ice sickle from the roof! Her family looked out for us and we always watched out for Grandma Arlene! After we moved back to Texas, we came to see her every time we were back in Michigan. It was truly an honor to be able to count her as our friend and a little bit family too. We all loved her. She had 92 years on the planet. She lived a full life. Now she is with her Lord and Savior. She left the foot prints of love everywhere she went. She made this world a better place and she will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my dear friend.
